Precise advice and guidance on the differences between Dubai and Japan

Culture and Business Customs
Dubai is a Middle Eastern country, which is strongly influenced by Islamic culture and values. Japan, on the other hand, is an East Asian country with its unique culture and business customs. It is necessary to understand and adapt to different cultures and business customs.
Legal and Regulatory Environment
Dubai has different legal and regulatory environments from Japan. In Dubai, there are specific legal requirements and regulations for foreign companies to enter the market, and proper procedures and compliance are required to conduct business activities.
Market Characteristics and Competitive Environment
Dubai is an international business hub with a diverse range of industries and markets. Compared to Japan, the market size and competitive environment may be different. It is essential to understand Dubai's market characteristics and its environment in order to develop appropriate strategies.
Work Environment and Human Resources
Dubai has a multinational work environment with many foreign workers. On the other hand, the labor market and employment system in Japan are different. In Dubai, specific regulations and procedures need to be taken into account, such as employment and visa procedures for foreign workers.
Tax System
Dubai has a different tax system from Japan. In Dubai, there is no corporate income tax or consumption tax, and business tax incentives exist. However Japan, on the other hand, has a relatively unique tax system that includes income tax, corporate income tax, and consumption tax.

These are just general differences, so we need to know that different factors exist for individual companies and industries. It is very important to understand the differences between the business environment in Dubai and Japan, and choose the appropriate strategy and approach.

Incorporation time

Incorporation can be done in about 2 weeks to 1 month. Although it is possible to establish a company with just a passport, obtaining a VISA first will make the process quicker and smoother. At least, a tourist VISA will be needed. (*Depends on the type of business and purpose of establishment).

Incorporation costs

The cost of incorporation is approximately 1.5~2.0 million yen (depending on the exchange rate, licenses to be obtained, etc.). This amount covers all the procedures which is necessary to establish a corporation, including obtaining a VISA valid for two years and a corporate office. For the maintenance of the corporation, business license renewal fees (approximately 1,000,000 per year, depending on the license) are needed.
